We work with our children to bring their imaginations to life. Children’s art comes both from the imagination and from reality, and includes multiple perspectives.
We invite children under activity ‘Paint Your Dreams’ to sketch their sources of joy and hopes for the future.
Started in 2019, we aim to continue the journey ‘Paint Your Dreams’ online this year due to Covid 19 restrictions.
With special focus on children’s creativity from the region of Jaisalmer, the activity provides the platform for creative expressions and desires.

 Activity Details

Paint Your Dreams is an online activity aimed at encouraging the artist in a child. Open for age groups 5 to 15 years and 15 to 25 years, the submission to the activity can be drawings, paintings, cartoons, doodles, sketches and collage.

The age group 5 to 15 years is for young children. The age group 15 to 25 is for college/school students or young adults. The shortlisted artwork will be uploaded on our website and social media accounts as honorable mentions. The shortlisted art work may also get a chance to be featured in I Love Jaisalmer annual calendar along with drawing kits as gifts.

Size of the artwork

The artwork to be submitted can be in two sizes- A4 or A3.
A4 size is 210 × 297 millimeters or 21 x 29.7 centimeters or 8.27 × 11.69 inches.
A3 size is 297 x 420 millimeters or 29.7 x 42.0 centimeters, 11.69 x 16.53 inches.
A child can use any other size also as an exceptional case.

Medium Used for the Art Work

You can use any medium of your choice. It could be regular pencils, colored pencils, graphite pencils, charcoal, crayons, sketch pens, oil pastels, water colors, acrylic colors, oil colors. The drawing, sketch or painting can be done on drawing paper or canvas. Any other surface suitable for drawing or painting may be used if the child wants to as an exceptional case.

Entry Submission

Submissions of paintings will be on our website www.ilovejaisalmer.com though registration. Submit a good quality picture of your artwork along with title of the artwork and a brief description about the artwork which states your thoughts behind the art work.
Please do not send your original artworks to us, unless we ask for it. Each participant can submit a maximum of 10 entries. These entries can be across themes mentioned for the activity. The art work submitted online should be original work of the young artist. Upload and submit photo(s) of art work with the original pixel size as high resolution JPEG. The photo size of art work should be less than 7.6 MB. We ask for the original artwork for each shortlisted entry. A participation certificate will be emailed to every participant on successful submission.

Permission/ Agreement: *

I hereby authorize I Love Jaisalmer/ The I Love Foundation, a non- profit organization, and its affiliates, to use the art work created by me royalty free, for any reasonable purpose, and in any format, known now or later created, including but not limited to The I Love Foundation promotions, literature, material, market opportunities and other third parties. I understand that the art work may be available for viewing by the general public, and may appear on I Love Jaisalmer/ The I Love Foundation’s and or the third parties’ websites, in print, or in other similar formats and mediums to promote I Love Jaisalmer/ The I Love Foundation’s work. The art work will be retained by I Love Jaisalmer in its collection.

I grant The I Love Foundation, without limited, the rights to use or reuse the art work in whole or in parts as The I Love Foundation may elect. The I Love Foundation has complete ownership of the material, including copyrights interests. I understand that I will not be paid in any way for providing this authorization.
